As dusk falls and the lanterns glow, Flagstaff Hill transforms. Follow your guide on the Lantern Walk through the village, past silent buildings, down cobblestone streets and settle in for a sound and light spectacular unlike anything else on the Great Ocean Road.
Tales of the Shipwreck Coast dives deep into the region’s most powerful stories: the First Nations connection to sea and Country, the boom and bust of Warrnambool’s whaling era, and the unforgettable shipwreck of the Loch Ard. Watch history come alive as these stories are projected across a nine-metre water wall, surrounded by the night air and the roar of the Southern Ocean.
The show runs rain, hail or shine. Warm clothing is recommended in cooler months.
